Get Your SnowDogg Snow Plow Ready for Winter: A Pre-Season Inspection Guide

Winter is just around the corner, and that means it’s time to prepare your SnowDogg Snow Plow for the snowy season ahead! Ensuring that your plow is in top condition is crucial for a smooth and efficient operation when the first snow falls. Today, we’ll walk you through a comprehensive pre-season inspection, covering the essential steps to get your plow ready for action. Let’s dive in!

What You'll Need

Before we start, gather the following tools:
1. Grease gun (with a tapered special tip) 2. Dielectric grease 3. Rags These tools will help you with greasing, maintenance, and inspections, ensuring that your plow performs reliably.

Step 1: Mount The Plow

Begin by mounting the plow onto your truck. This step is critical as it allows you to access all necessary components for inspection. Grease the Mounting Pins: Start by applying grease to the mounting pins. Use your grease gun to add grease along the pivot points and the base of the lift frame. Don’t forget to grease the pins where the A-frame and lift frame connect. Prepare the Truck: Make sure the truck is ready to mount the plow. Position the controller in the mount position (look for the red flashing light).
